The pipe is made of heat-resistant PE-RT polyethylene with an oxygen barrier and is intended for installation in concrete screed in x-net floor heating systems. The Kermi PE-RT pipe is made using a 5-layer technology to prevent abrasion of the protective layer EVOH, which prevents oxygen (diffusion) into the heat transfer medium through the pipe wall. The pipe consists of high density polyethylene and is subjected to a molecular cross-linking process with a flow of electrons. This cross-linking of the polyethylene structure results in a high resistance to thermal and mechanical stress.
